They have a high turnover because the company does not focus on retention nor try to negotiate with employees who are considering other opportunities. -Human Resources works for Wellspan, not the employee. Don’t expect them to advocate for you because they’re main priority is protecting themselves. They will gaslight you. -Nurse driven- If you’re not a nurse, don’t expect to have any say in anything -Lots of committees with minimal actual change. -Dishonest leadership -Wellspan wants yes people instead of people who will advocate for what’s right for the patient. -Managers will block you from advancement, transfer, etc if you complain about them or confront them about unit issues -Educational assistance is poor. Read the fine print or you’ll end up signing your future away. -Company uses token black people and racial minorities in advertising when in reality the workforce is not diverse. -Would rather hire cheap staff than experienced staff -Discouraging and disheartening workplace- I began to dread work and left the company so defeated that I wasn’t sure I even wanted to work in healthcare anymore. -Drama -Outdated facilities and equipment -Poor security and parking options
