Vantaggi

FYI: They are asking employees to write positive reviews to make up for all of the unsolicited, unimpressive and mostly accurate reviews they have earned up till now. Golf, Red Sox Tickets, Wine Tastings, and entertainment for upper management. Free lunch for all employees that show up during a snowstorm.

Svantaggi

- August 13, 2015 was the day that a representative from Wellesley Bank responded to all the reviews left here about the company, which were average/mediocre to negative. - Same day a VP from WB left a five star review of the "great culture"and fast pace here. - Shortly after the admin also wrote the same review, leaving five stars and emphasizing the same points, changing the words slightly. - Only VPs have admins so the similar wording and timing was probably not a coincidence. Just know the 5 star reviews are to be taken with a grain of salt, as they are probably not genuine and some people are being pressured to write them. Understand that the fast pace they talk about is the pace that you'll be putting out wild fires, not the pace you will be pursuing and reaching your goals. If you're in sales, protect your connection to your clients - WB has purchased far more clients through outside hires than they have been able to cultivate on their own. If you are young, don't start here. You won't learn as much as you would at Eastern, Citizens or TD, and there are fewer opportunities to rise because WB's need for growth sends them seeking outside hires. Your skills here won't grow as fast as your colleagues at peer institutions, and that will set you behind in your career.
