They do actively seek to promote professional growth, and the feedback is immediate and clear. Recognition is readily given to those who do well.

The corporate culture seems to promote a "do as your told or else.." mentality. There is no room for objections even when sales ethics and professionalism are called into question. Exceeding sales goals is the only activity that is rewarded. Favoritism and retaliation are rampant, mid-level management operates with complete immunity as long as goals are met. Those who don't meet goals are forced out by any means necessary. The pay is quite low and customer service experience is not a priority.

Cross Selling is the only focus now, firing employees who are great at their job in every area that should matter but if the cross selling results are not meeting the ever ridiculous quota (which continues to rise) than you may not have a job next month. Expectation for customers to say yes to cross selling, leaving you with no real control of your job security. Stress!
