If you like an enviroment where someone higher than you is always making decisions for you and telling you what to do..,,,Then Wells Fargo Bank is your place. After being there for 8 months I was fed up with all the red tape and not being allowed to do just the simplest things without having someones approval. I don't know how many times I was cussed at by a customer because we where waiting for appoval on something from the manager....stuff that other banks just do automatically. Took the job as a teller in order to advance to a loan officer in the future and after about 7 months was offer that position. I wound up turning it down after I figured out a "personal banker" is not really a loan officer, but more of a glorified teller. These guys can't make any decisions either!!!
