Great Burger, Not a Great Company - Recensione dipendente - Manager presso Whataburger

The corporate office has a very different culture than the restaurant operations. This review is from the corporate office perspective. They have worked hard in an attempt to paint a picture of the culture by defining a set of values, guiding principles and a lofty vision statement - Great Company, Great Burger. However, from my experience, it seems their actions and processes do not align with those words. The culture is reminiscent of the Orwell book 1984 - lots of "doublethink", groupthink and leadership by intimidation and/or exercise of power/authority.
