Incompetent management, starting from the head of the store. lacking interpersonal skills, the knowledge on how to run the store and how to deal with its colleagues in a reasonable and empathetic way. Often left understaffed due to the lack of rota planning and supposed budget issues, especially at the front-end of the store. The front-end manager is often nowhere to be seen, unavailable for customers as well as for colleague assistance. Lack of staff training by management, often leading to errors throughout the store, especially regarding health and safety. Poor work-life balance, holidays requested in advance are often denied and ignored by management, without any reason. Institutional disregard for employees needs throughout the company, emails to HR regarding in-store issues are often ignored. Favouritism and discrimination towards colleagues from management. Favoured colleagues wrongdoings are blatantly often overlooked, whilst others are unfairly punished.
