Vantaggi

Very talented, knowledgeable people working in an exploding industry. Good level of autonomy and a variety of projects to keep things interesting.

Svantaggi

Since being acquired by Lincoln Electric, Wolf’s culture has changed substantially. The new GM does not embody the values of old and instead only cares about the numbers. Extremely talented and experienced people are departing and being replaced by outside hires, leaving a serious knowledge gap. Employee satisfaction and morale are down as the large corporate culture starts to take over. Wolf used to be very agile but is now weighed down with red-tape and corporate bureaucracy. There's a clear divide in attitude between people who worked for Wolf Robotics and new hires that only know Wolf as a division of Lincoln. Depending on the department, career advancement is limited and compensation increases are dictated by the corporate office, so minimal at best. They rely on a bonus program that not everyone has a direct effect on and is hard to plan for in your finances.

Vantaggi

I gained a lot of experience working at Wolf Robotics. I started in the Shipping/Receiving area and then worked in Purchasing. They allow a lot of autonomy; you do not often have someone looking over your shoulder. You are allowed to speak with suppliers, create purchase Orders, work on special projects, and complete ESO's and ECO's. I grew as a result of the experience.

Svantaggi

There is a lack of mentor ship; autonomy is great but I think it would be good to offer more guidance to interns. Sometimes I did not receive full instructions on how to complete a task. Since an internship is a learning experience, it was frustrating when I would be in trouble for a mistake when proper instruction had not been given (usually they were pretty patient, but it was still difficult). As of now, this is more of a purchasing internship then supply chain internship. Interns are not included in on strategy or get to see how supply chain decisions are made.
