Vantaggi
Left Wolfspeed after they sold its LED business in 2021, so I can't speak to any shifts in company culture since then, much less how the company operates in a post-pandemic world. Right off the bat, Cree (Wolfspeed) had a notorious reputation as a very difficult place to work when I joined. Management had made admirable strides to steady the ship by the time I left, so I'd take any reviews before 2018 with a helping of salt. Biggest draw to working there as a fresh-out-of-undergrad employee was that my role was more hands-on and offered more experience to a new grad than the typical entry-level engineering gig. Huge resume builder.
Svantaggi
Very hands-off company. There was no (and I do mean *no*) training offered to engineers when I joined. You were expected to learn on the fly, which can be intimidating to fresh engineers. Again, in the interest of transparency, this could have changed since the sale.
