Vantaggi
- Work from home - Lots of flexibility - Lots of freedom to do your own personal stuff on company time. This is the perfect job for you if you're a musician or an artist. There are quite a few musicians and artists working here and they all work on their music and art on company time!! - It's great being able to run errands or do grocery shopping while on the clock. - Free daycare! quite a few individuals on my team have kids and they all do daddy/mommy duties while on the clock
Svantaggi
- Co-founders are incompetent and can't run a business to save their lives. One of them is a wannabe Jordan Belfort and the other one is a new immigrant from China who can barely speak English. - LOW PAY for the amount of work expected - No job security, management is constantly replacing us with cheaper workers from the Philippines and Vietnam - Tech team constantly rolls out new releases without informing the fulfillment team first - Big disconnect between the sales team and fulfillment team. Sales *always* overpromises, leaving us to deal with angry customers and the inevitable cancellations - Communication issues plague the organization - The service provided is buggy and support takes forever to fix critical issues - They claim to be an American company but their support team is based in the Philippines and the tech team is based in Vietnam. One of the co-founders is a new immigrant from China. Nothing wrong with that, but you guys shouldn't be running around town telling everyone you're a proud American company when most of your staff ain't even American lol - They claim to be an "AI" company which is untrue. Woosender doesn't use real AI, period. What they do have is a rule-based chatbot which relies on pre-programmed responses. This chatbot is easily the worst half-baked product I've ever had the misfortune of working on. - Clients cancel right away after discovering that they're paying for an overpriced chatbot which doesn't work properly half the time. The AI hype train is running out of steam and it's very hard to retain customers when the product is subpar to begin with.
