Evaluations are very negative disheartening experiences that serve no purpose(there are no promotions or salary changes tied to these). They are very "class" oriented, a manager can be allowed to get in late and leave early, while other "lower class" employees might be told to stay away from the coffee because it costs too much. Salary differences between employees are astronomical.
