Good peers and a good customer

No respect for your experience or your skills, constant MICROMANAGEMENT from SVP, VP, Directors... Lots of lip service to continuous improvement, but if your suggestion doesn't mirror your boss's boss's boss's ideas, it's unwelcome. Total "Not Invented Here" resistance. Ask for help, you're "being a victim." Expected to be on call 24/7/365, no illusion of work/life balance, XPO is more important than your kids or your spouse or your health. One year in, have had no time off, had to stay home one day due to being too ill to drive, expected to be on laptop responding to email within 20-30 minutes or get angry IM's.
