Sometimes it can feel like management at the corporate level has ADHD. The area of focus for operations can sometimes change week-to-week.
Also, if you want to promote, it's a slow process. Once you're an Operations Supervisor, you really can't rise any higher unless you go to another facility. The best you can do is start to make more money in place by having a more tenure, or getting a more favorable shift due to seniority (the least experienced supervisors usually get stuck having to work the inbound shift, which is usually from 12 AM to 10 AM). If you want to climb the ladder, be prepared to move.
