The Culture Club is just wrapping up 1-1 interviews with every employee and we hope that you shared your feedback as candidly with the team member who conducted your interview. Your comments here made us pause and reflect on how we operate, and how the brand and reputation of Xceleration might be perceived.
We are proud to say that we have a legacy employee or two who have been with us since they graduated from college and entered the work force. These loyal individuals are part of our culture. Xceleration is an EOE employer. We hire and promote on the basis of skill, aptitude and the ability to navigate a certain amount of politics and change management that come with being an established company. We do not condone name calling, pejoratives or whining.
We do manage PTO to some degree because we don't have a large bench, and because our practice is to pay out earned yet unused PTO in most circumstances when someone leaves the company. Most of the time, this practice benefits the employee on the receiving end. We like to think that we are being competitive and the Employee Experience team, in particular, will continue to refine our total compensation/total rewards strategy.
Xceleration is a client-focused company. Many of our management practices reflect the partnerships we have and the ways we work to meet our clients' needs. Maintaining the architecture of our industry-leading incentive technology and creating intelligent transitions for valued clients who are in the process of migrating to our latest iteration is a top priority. Most companies that have an in-house development team have their own version of Agile and we’re in the process of trying to find ours. It is certainly not one size fits all. Many people across the organization have engaged in discussions and implemented changes to our processes in an on-going effort to find what works best for Xceleration. This has often resulted in changes that feel uncomfortable to those who have been here a long time, and it shows a huge commitment on their part to creating a culture that fosters innovation while also maintaining a very high level of service to our clients. It also demonstrates how much they value our development team’s contributions and the large role they play in the company’s success.
So, in the vein of one of our best slogans, "This is what we do and this is how we say it," - Thank you for your feedback!
