You get to work with brilliant and innovative engineers. Due to its startup nature, in this company you get to exercise your creativity and problem-solving skills on a day-to-day basis, inspired and motivated by the fact that your work gets to go to space, and your product (remotely-sensed earth imagery) gets to move science and industry forward! You work together as a team for the success of the mission. As long as you believe in the mission, and are a self-starter, you will have a great time here!

This is not a con for me personally, but I imagine some might miss the predictability and structure of bigger companies. But to me, this is a welcome challenge: no two days are the same, every day brings its own exciting challenges to tackle!

The executives couldn't manage sending a weather balloon to space, let alone a satellite. They are self-funding their series A funding round just to put on the illusion that this is a real company. They have outsourced all engineering to companies that have next to no flight heritage or experience, and in the last year have had 20 employees quit, be fired, or just simply stop showing effort in their work. They have hired wrong because they simply do not know what technical skills they need to succeed as a space company. They then give impossible tasks to complete in an impossible timeline, only to scream at the top of their lungs at the middle managers for the engineers lack of production. This is a hostile work environment, anybody who argues with that statement is the source of the hostility. If you are applying to this company, know there is no possible way your options will be worth the paper they're printed on. You are only there as food for the snakes to feed on with the hopes they'll be as important as their saintly Elon Musk. This company has won multiple contracts with the US goverment only to never produce a single work item noteworthy of recognition with regards to their contracts. They're most likely going to be investigated for fraud by the DoD, NRO, and others.
