Worst HR dept. I have ever encountered (frequent mistakes on paychecks/benefits, impersonal, care much more about blood drives/charity events than helping plant employees with day to day issues). Plant level management has literally no control over this business - our plant manager practically needs the NA VP’s approval every time our plant needs to purchase an extra roll of duct tape. NA leadership implement/demand sweeping initiatives/results and give plants no guidance or resources to implement changes. Everything is poorly planned, and regional leadership only cares about monthly metrics. This company likes to believe that we innovate; however, we do not. Everything this company does to compete is driven by a short term, bottom line mentality that is not sustainable: cutting costs, funneling more and more responsibilities to salaried-exempt employees, etc.
