Working from home makes yardi a great place to work, and the teams have adapted fluidly. I personally communicate more with my manager now than when we worked 100% from the office.

There is no word on the future of working from home. A year from now we could still be working 100% from home, 100% from the office, or a mixture but not knowing gives many employees anxiety. Personally, if we are required to return the office, I will look for a new job.

We’re glad to hear you enjoying working for the Austin office. With the uncertainty of COVID, we’re also uncertain of when office will open back up. When that time comes, we do plan to notify employees well in advance and will slowly reopen. While we aren’t in a rush to get employees back to the office, many of our employees are looking forward to being back in the office, when it’s safe to do so, and connecting with their coworkers. Training has been the most inconsistent I’ve experienced in a corporate environment. Expectations are high, but the role itself changes frequently, often without clear communication or proper support. A recent reorganization shifted responsibilities and workloads, and it felt like it was used to delay or avoid well‑deserved raises and promotions across the team. Leadership has also increased micromanagement and plans to move toward a mandatory 2‑day in‑office schedule next year, which adds additional strain without improving collaboration.
