Vantaggi
-Opportunity for growth if you're a high performer and make it clear you want it
-The company is willing to pay for courses and certifications that are relevant to your role.
-Smart, generally hardworking team that still likes to have fun.
-Good work life balance. Taking time when you need it for things like doctor appointments (or whatever else honestly) is perfectly fine, so long as you don't abuse it.
Svantaggi
- Low pay, and every promotion and pay increase is a battle (and that's just trying to get to something approaching median pay for a given role).
- PTO policy not so generous for US. Australia and UK get more time off by law, but company could implement similar policy companywide in the name of fairness.
- It takes YEARS for the potential to offered equity and even then, there's no vesting schedule, so you'd have to just bide your time until the company sells or goes public and due to the company's current rate of growth that could very well be another 5+ years.
