Vantaggi
Fast paced at times, making shifts go by quicker Nice coworkers (besides management) Not bad pay (universal commission usually covers taxes taken out)
Svantaggi
Understaffed, especially on weekends During the summer the AC went out, they did not get it fixed for over a month (temp outside were over 100°) Managers constantly mess up scheduling. I was only unavailable to work 1 day and they constantly scheduled me that day then acted like it's my fault. Constant rotating of management. I worked here for 6 months and had 3 different managers, at one point we were without a manager for over a month. Was not given pay raises I was promised because the manager left, (everything was always blamed on this manager because he was no longer there) Horrible repetitive music, in the time I was there, only 1 new song was added to a repeating track. I repeat, horrible music (EX: I love a black woman) the whole song is this phrase repeated over and over. Back stock is a maze, constantly jumping over boxes, moving full boxes to hopefully find stock behind them. Nothing is in its correct place. Only 2-3 cashiers for the womens, mens, and children on the weekend. Making the line rediculously long & dealing with angry customers. Most managers have no idea what they are doing, have to ask associates how to work things/ what to do. Managers also do not share the same policies, leaving sales associates confused and sometimes in trouble for following another ones protocol. Corporate could care less, about anything but sales. Register system is very confusing, not user friendly & takes forever to ring people up, return, or if you dare - do an exchange.
