It is not unusual to turn up to work one day and realize somebody is suddenly resigning. If the CEOs don’t like you or your opinions on how to better the company, you can be randomly called to have your loyalty questioned and be asked/pressured/encouraged (however you want to call it) to quit. As part of “loyalty” me and other employees have once been asked to leave reviews on Google and other recruiting sites to improve the score of the company before (not very moral). There’s a skewed view on what it means to be loyal in such a toxic ceo-centric culture - needs to wake up and realize it’s not a startup anymore.
