Vantaggi
Easy commute against Eastside traffic. Used to be a great opportunity for those who like driving org change. Used to have some great leaders in Operations.
Svantaggi
Everyone with any brains have quit or have been let go by now. A few deranged managers at the wheel are playing musical chairs and perceive subordinates as personal secretaries. (Get ready for some assignments for the sake of assignments; you are not producing anything meaningful). Several leaders have neither training nor knowledge of driving a mid-sized organization (let alone any college degrees). Pay is below average Seattle Metro tech, and benefits are laughable. Forget about bonuses. Open space = you are in a room with 100 people divided by waist-level walls, sitting in a chair with biological stains on it, listening to low-pay admins cracking jokes and passing gas. There are no growth opportunities: there is no reason to promote you if you do your job well, but if you do it too well - you get to do other people's jobs too. Management hands out gimmicky titles to those who have no education or training int he field, just to prevent people from leaving. Grats, you are now in the oldest American start-up (that feels and runs like one).
