Zones killed the only real pro which was free food.... They think giving the employees 10 minutes out of their morning to go get food at a lobby table is to distracting and the cause of poor sales. I guess the schedule is ok and location.

So so many to list... Honestly if I knew 4 years ago what I know now I would have never even bothered applying at this sweat shop. Favoritism runs rampant at Zones... A handful of reps are gifted the best accounts so they never really have to sell all they have to do is farm and make huge money while everyone else is expected to live up to their level. Zones has some serious identity problems and complete lack of motivating for its sales teams.. The pay is terrible for industry standard, no working from home (this kind of job is done from home at most of their competitors) spifs are pretty much long gone at this point and zones finds ways to keep them for themselves... You literally need to be making this company 300+k a year if you want to clear 60k.... How often is that going to happen while trying to sell monitors at 4 points? As of now Zones wants to change into a data center solutions company.... HA LOL. They are not even close to being set up for something like that, customers expect boots on the ground and their reps to be educated to their needs and zones doesnt care they expect you to get a 500k storage or networking order after talking to these guys on the phone for 2 months without ever meeting them. Management needs to figure out something and something fast as many tenured people want out to find better pay from places that have the tools for success... The one and only reason Zones doesnt completely implode is their non compete, you can never leave this place for greener pastures because zones will sue you. This place has become pretty much a waste of time and effort if you want any kind of career it is full of burn outs and people just waiting to get out.

Work from home is a perk for most. Some ability to travel and attend events with clients and prospects.

Where do I begin? If you really need a job, I get it but would not recommend it! So many issues- toxic culture, very siloed even within sales organization, leadership not to be trusted. Penny pinching on sales commissions and unrealistic sales goals.
