It's as though the HQ has no desire to make a profit - they spend so much time preventing success from the people who have the knowledge to succeed. There is an air of paranoia among employees, and there are ruthless changes in positions that make no sense. For anyone seeking employment under the US organization, I do recommend it as a great group of people to work with, but I don't think it's a place where long term employment can be considered.
