Hearst has made some bad business decisions - they have laid people off with no notice, including people who were productive in keeping their clients happy, or who had critical knowledge about their field. They have invested a lot of money in a new app, which is not at a revenue generating stage, and are starving their traditional product. But this means there are opportunities.
