Vantaggi
A wonderful small company where colleagues become like family. There is a great work life balance, where you are encourage to spend time with your family, book your holidays and rest when unwell. Everyone looks out for one another where they can and when needed the whole company comes together to complete a task. No micro managing happens either, you're trusted to conduct your work and it allows you to do it well. Holiday allowance is extremely generous and bank holidays are paid days off(outside of your allowance) and at Christmas the company closes for a week to allow everyone to get that time with loved ones. This is best I've ever encountered in my 15 years working and is fantastic. The company additionally looks after you through communal beverages and snacks(the healthy kind and the comforting kind). Prior to covid team building/social days would occur, these could vary from fun and games to just meeting in the in house bar(I've no doubt these will return in some form or another once safe to do so). Personally since working here I actually look forward to going to work every day. I never fail to find myself laughing and having a great time, while still getting what I need done. You're encouraged to learn and grow when settled within the company, be this through learning a new skill you could bring to the company or learning something that can help you cover with other teams(and vice versa). Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm as well. No us/them mentality with management, everyone is a person. It has an ethos you can actually believe in and feel like you're directly contributing towards. All in all, the above for me has captured my loyalty and desire to stay with the company. To give it my prior years of skill and expertise, along with the desire to work positively and proactively towards it's growth and expansion.
Svantaggi
Not personally a Con for me but if you're looking for aggressive progression - this company may not be for you. As progression does not necessarily work in a traditional sense due to it's current size, so sometimes you'd take a side step as opposed to a 'step up' but this allows you to enrich other teams and expand your knowledge.
