Beautiful office, great and inspiring mission, motivated co-workers.

The business model of avi is not working, so the company is slowly falling apart. Avi hired too many people, rented a massive office and got cocky too soon, before actually validating that the business would work. Over the last months it has become clear, that avi is and will not be profitable. No one is admitting to this from the leadership and fluffy statements about how excited investors are about avi are thrown around but here is no clear plan how to move forward. As leadership gets more and more desperate to make money, employees suffer from layoffs, semi-ethical decisions, chaos, intense micro management and pressure. Everyone who is not in the "inner circle" of the senior leadership is treated as if they are incompetent, there is no room to grow and no room to apply your skills. I absolutely cannot recommend this company. Maybe if they are able to turn things around and in some time, when there is a new management, there is hope.

Back then the management team consisted out of the typical Startup bros, with very high IQ, great ambition but little experience of really running a company leading to a toxic culture, ongoing change and pivots. Even in the very early phase, it became apparent that Primary Care and the venture capital-related pressure to demonstrate not only growth but also profitability led to an "averse selection" of measures. I am not a doctor, but there are indications that things were done that were not necessarily sensible in terms of the healthcare system or the patient, but purely for profitability
