Great Company culture. The products are very high quality and innovative. There is a great focus around developing relationships with the customer. Training has improved over the years and managers are held to a high standard. Feedback through anonymous surveys have become more common and changes have started to be implemented. No one works on commision, which creates a relaxed atmosphere.

There is a large division between the retail and corporate sides of the company and crossing over is not easy--even if you are tenured. Internal promotions are at the mercy of the direct supervisor--to apply for the desired position, you must have their signature and their supervisor's signature. Unfortunately, this means that if you are too valuable in your current position or not favored for the open position, your supervisor can choose to deny your request to interview for a promotion or another position. Also, there is a wide gap between the standard that managers are held to and standards that part-time employees are held to. Almost always, you are expected to hold the team accountable and to "drive results" but are given little to no back up at the corporate level.
