9yWe are aware that these comments are from a disgruntled employee who was written up for performance issues including severe attendance violations resulting in termination. However, we would still like address these below concerns.
We have a full time HR department who works out of another location, hence is not on site at our main office. Additionally, we partner with Zenefits resources which we believe that this person is well aware of.
We are not sure what was meant by “heard at this place” but see there was an example given regarding two employees dressing up as stated below.
We understand and agree with the way such action is generally perceived as offensive, and thus we will dissuade any such future costumes.
We also want to point out the two following facts:
The employees were not instructed to dress as such by the ownership, they chose to do so independently.
Upon realizing that this could be interpreted as offensive, both employees apologized and offered to go home and change immediately.
Regarding the comment that people are “promoted and demoted without cause:” we want to point out that this employee was terminated primarily for attendance. All of the employees over the years who have been promoted have had exemplary attendance records among other qualities. Our wages are competitive, and anyone who works hard and has good attendance can receive raises and promotions.
If any item in the warehouse ran out, we have a storage facility right next door with backup supplies always, so it is not accurate to imply that our employees have to do without them. Regarding chairs:
Chairs and stools of course have always been in the warehouse, the employees asked if we could purchase taller chairs than were already offered as well as standing gel matts, which we did. Hence if anything, this would be an example of how we listened to the employee’s requests and made them more comfortable.
As for the look of our call center, it is certainly their right to express their opinion just as it is our right to respectfully disagree. The awards we have earned do indeed date back many years as we have been in business since 2000 and we are very proud of them. We do not simply discard them as time goes by, but rather add to them with the newer awards that we continue to earn e.g. Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000” award for fastest growing companies in America in 2013, 2014 and 2015, SOTI’s “Cloud Partner of the year” for 2016 award and AT&Ts “Solution Provider Champion” awards from 2014, 2015 and 2016.
