I have been in and out of the radio/media industry for 7 years and haven't found a better industry to be in. That being said, iHM is the leader in tradional and digital broadcasting. So many opportunities in my market to grow sales for clients! I enjoy the team that I work with, all are so motivated and respectful of each other. There is an emphasis on collaboration for station promotions and cluster promotions. I am usually very busy, which I like.

I have a total of 8 years post college work experience, and make less than my first post college job in radio. While I love this job, it financially isn't very feasible for me. I have not been here for a year yet, so feel bad asking for a raise. I knew coming into this job that there isn't much room for growth. So in that sense, this company is stagnant. Some of our systems don't play nice with other systems, and it makes my job frustrating. There are no additional incentives for staff outside of sales. It's depressing going into some sales meetings and an AE gets handed a wad of cash that is the equivalent to what I make in one month.
