Pay was on the lower end but it is a start up and this sort of thing is to be expected.

Production manager (my boss) worked hard to introduce mainstream human resources practices. Talented co-workers put up with a lot from CEO.

Promoted after one month and positive performance review from production mgr. The CEO refused to sign off because I was past age 40, ordered manager to rescind promotion and demote me to entry level. (job title was actually Account Manager but GlassDoor doesn't like that.)
