Technical: Outdated infrastructure and methods. Hard-to-track infrastructure due to above. "Work fast and break things" attitude that leads to technical debt. No sense of direction. Disorganized(No Scrum or other development management system). Poor documentation and work tracking. Operation security concerns. Social: Work-Life balance considered "BS", expectation that your life is the company. Company culture created by operations management revolves around operations management. Seemingly mandatory social expectations related to above. Limited-to-no ability to network outside of company. Lack of Human Resources. Managerial: Lack of proper managerial training. No sense of direction or detailed time-line. Personal feelings get in the way of professional behavior. Disconnect between communicated expectations and actual expectations.
