Nothing exciting left to do, dirty legacy objective-c code you have to deal with all the time. The management strives to release as many features as possible and even more. Therefore, you have no time and are not allowed to influence the project development. No career path at all. Just sit and brush buttons. No bonuses or options.

Lots of senior leadership has been with the company for 10-20 years. This can be great for institutional knowledge and consistency but can also create significant blindspots. Modernization of tools, systems and employee expectations can sometimes feel outdated, completely manual or slow. Investment decisions can sometimes feel pennywise but pound foolish. Collaboration between technical and product teams can feel painful.
