Extremely top heavy organization. As a result, all benefits, opportunities, etc. that they tout are really only applicable to the LARGE senior management team. There are like 20+ partners compared to the 5 AAEs, AEs, SAEs, AMs. They try to PR it and say it's because the partners bring in big business, but that is rarely the case. They all get light workloads making $$$ while AMs and below are working like crazy for no pay. Don't be fooled by their claims that it is easy to take your career wherever you want here, that simply isn't the case. They will give you more work than is humanly possible to achieve, and then make the path to promotion impossible. And once you finally get through all the challenges of getting a promotion, get ready to be rewarded with no more than a $4-5K raise. Pay is extremely poor, well below average in Miami. Other PR firms start their staff off at least $5-10K more, with more options for raises/bonuses. rbb gives you essentially zero opportunity for raises or bonuses besides the miniscule EOY bonuses that barely cover a pair of sneakers. Client roster is robust, but they make it challenging to work on the accounts you have an interest in. Culture is extremely toxic. Cliquey, management will speak down to you without thinking twice, work is rarely recognized, workload is much greater than average. Management says to speak up if the workload is too great or you want to shift things around, but they don't offer solutions. Larger firm, but turnover seems very high. Very few weeks passed without people coming and going.

Thanks for your response, but there are several errors in your review. rbb has had strong ratings on Glassdoor for many years because of positive reviews from all levels. We have 10 senior leaders (partners and VPs) in professional services for a team of almost 85 professionals which we feel is a good mix. We track everyone’s time, even partners, and everyone has to deliver results for clients. While we love everyone to bring in new clients, we have a dedicated new business leader and marketing manager to own that process. Each employee scopes their hours every month and works with their manager to ensure they are not going over the recommended schedule – that means solutions. Our productivity reports show very few people are over their billability goals. We’ve benchmarked our salaries and find we are in the upper quartile for starting salaries and many of our interns have gone to become AAEs, AEs, SAEs, and even Account Directors and VPs. All of our partners came up through the ranks as proof the career paths work. The only senior hires that came in from the outside were new areas – like our content studio director and digital VP. You’re right that the landscape is different. Annual raises tend to range from 5% - 15%, and most receive additional salary bumps for promotions and stellar performance throughout the year. And yes, we don’t do big bonuses – we think employees prefer guaranteed salary. It’s a thank you that we take 5% of profit and return it to staff. Sorry you didn’t want it. We will take your advice and always revisit our offerings. We did invent the employee-driven workplace and we can’t rest on our laurels. Good luck in your future work!
