But the worst part was that, one way or another, you become part of a way-too-open office where people talk to each other only on slack and you have no one to say hi to in the morning because they're all either too proud of their well off position or they're too scared to lose their job any day now. So yea, people simply don't say hello to each other and only talk during lunch - in small (sometimes secret) groups. A lot of ppl just go and eat alone. It was one of the saddest experiences of my career and I got to feel myself burning out for nothing really.
