Svantaggi
They give new hires barely any training wheels, and then remove them immediately. I worked there for a month, and my boss rarely went with me to the front to check people in to demonstrate to me how I'm supposed to do it. On top of that, they had me be the only person to check people in when I was there, so I couldn't even listen to more experienced people and learn from them. Training consisted of a few videos where the customer was WAY more scripted and predictable than they are in reality. This applies even more so to phone calls. They gave me almost no training on how to talk to people over the phone, and I had very little opportunities to listen to my boss on the phone to learn how to talk to people.
