This leads to directionless teams and departments, and led to disastrous results more than once. When a more senior person is hired, they leave after a year out of frustration.
To save money, the whole development department is outsourced and located in China, which leads to difficult communication and coordination between teams.
The company doesn’t hide the goal is just making money for the higher ups and founders, and there is no transparency regarding salaries and benefits. There are no bonuses of any kind, and good job and company performance are rewarded with just a “thanks”.
