Got a call for a first interview. It consisted of a tour of the shop and a quick explanation of the machining process. i was able to ask any questions i desired at that time. Then after the tour I was put on a CNC machine and was shown how to perform the cycle and what to look out for. then worked a 1/2 shift (4 hrs) to see if i could handle working there. Afterwards i was asked if i liked what I did and could stand doing it for a full shift. I was then called back a day or two latter and offered a job.
