I had two recruiters in different time zones and no one had the guts to tell me I was rejected. I was emailed on a holiday to tell me good news was coming. I don’t need the money, but it sounded like such a good place to work. No thanks.

Too long between the application and interviews. The recruiter was unresponsive, lack of follow-up, and was difficult to reach. Auto-generated email to alert interviewees not selected. Interview process has multiple steps and takes several weeks or months.

Two interviews - first is one-on-one and then in a group setting. Behavioral questions, nothing out of the ordinary. The only problem was that the recruiter wasn't very communicative and I had to follow up multiple times to get answers.
Submitted online. Call back within 2 days. HR Screening within 4 days. Hiring Manager interview within 1 week. Followed up with recruiter, no response. No communication from AARP afterwards. Not even automated "no offer" email . I understand a candidate not being a fit for a job, but post interview ghosting is unprofessional.
