I applied online. After one week from my submission, I received a call from ABB HR and they fixed a phone interview for two days later. Then, they called me right at the fixed time and the guy asked me lots of technical questions. However, unfortunately the phone signal was weak such that I heard him with difficulty and also our conversation was terminated several times. I think these affected my interview and did not let me represent myself and my capabilities.

Lots of technical questions were asked. One of them was about wavelet application in power systems and the difference between wavelet and Fourier transforms.

Colloquio
Nel primo colloquio hanno valutato le mie capacità di lavorare in team tramite un incontro di gruppo con altri candidati.
Nel secondo colloquio, definito “tecnico”, in realtà non mi sono state poste domande di natura tecnica.
L’offerta di lavoro risulta piuttosto generica: le attività concrete variano molto a seconda del team. Consiglio quindi di chiedere chiarimenti sui software utilizzati e sulle modalità di formazione, in particolare se è previsto un affiancamento, con chi e per quanto tempo.
Five to Six interviews focussed on behaviour plus technical. Tell about various experiences like leadership, strengths, weakness, analytical skills and technical questions focussed on Electrical Engineering. Must have solid technical knowledge and good culture to crack ABB - Worl's best company. I had an amazing experience working at ABB.
Hiring manager phone call for 30min to 1 hour. If passed, full-day interview with 1-hour technical presentation, separated technical discussions with subject experts, behavior questions with HR, behavior questions with hiring manager
