Telephone interview and online application with voice sample.

I applied for a job, fill out the form diligently and recorded my voice following their instructions. I haven’t heard for a while and after I sent an email asking if they received my application, I received a general email, that started with “ Greetings #firstname#,” . I worked as a Customer service before, exactly the same job, but they “elected not to continue further”. It is a job answering calls, not a high level position or CEO. Everyone can answer the phones. No name on the bottom or any sign that this email was directed to me. It was disrespectful and humiliating experience. It is a shame that they don’t have basic polite manners and they are allowed to treat the people that way. Outrageous!
