I was approached by a recruiter of the company. Basically for two roles where he was stoked on how my cv was matching the job he was trying to fill;
1) Services Delivery Manager, and
2) Business Relationship Manager
The recruiter was a bit intense in terms of how fast he wanted to set up the call and kept following up.
I had my first interview with the recruiter and he was super positive about my experience, fit, and knowledge.
The interview with the hiring manager was a few days later. This too was a very positive and nice interview and he said he was very positive and that next calls should be planned.
From that point, radio silence....
I followed up with the recruiter about the next session, reached out if the role in the meantime was filled, asked for feedback..
But literally ZERO response or feedback from the company.
I put time into these conversations and prepared for this. It has been a very bad experience and I found it rather disappointing that there was not even the courtesy to inform a candidate.
I guess this says enough about the company culture.
Hopefully this review can create some awareness to the hiring team to improve their interview experience for other candidates.
