The process took 2 months. I applied through the company website and heard back from HR after a month. Arranged an in person interview where I spoke to the hiring manager and other team members. The interview did not include any behavioral questions and focused on my experience and how it is related to the position. After the interview I kept contact with the recruiter and a few days later he told me that I am overqualified for the position and I would be a better fit for a different group within the company that did not at the time have any openings.
