The head of the department mainly focused on providing information around group activities and work at the company and his experiences. The hiring manager was mainly interested in getting an idea of my background and previous experience and technical skill sets.

Showed up and was taken into a conference room with the prospective team and asked typical interview questions, i.e., describe your experience to date, what skills have you gained, and a few challenge questions like how would you analyze 'x' situation.
