I had two interviews, last interview was with the manager. Very easy process. They do run a credit check,’please make sure you don not have any high debt, if so it will be questioned and may leave to a disqualify.

Colloquio
Went through several rounds of interviews, sent thank you notes, then followed up with emails on interest. Sent an email a week and a half later to the hiring manager and recruiter to get status on next steps. Radio silence. I waited another week and a half to not hear a single word back. For such a high visibility company I was shocked to see ghosting at this level. In comparison I interviewed with a company that let me know where they were every step of the way and were transparent if there was a delay. Needless to say I withdrew my application with AIG and sent a final email letting them know that I had no choice but to withdraw due to a lack of response on their part. Looking back it’d apparent that transparency is not a hallmark of the culture there. Also there were some concerning red flags about the constant turnover, silos, and lack of cohesion within the team that everyone alluded to. AIG, if you treat potential recruiters like this I can’t imagine how you treat your employees. Be better.
