Was interviewed by the chef/owner. He seemed to be mining me more for ideas in how to turn his business around than really interviewing me. It felt more collegial than boss/intervieee; it was clear he didn't have a plan or trajectory for the interview. When I asked questions he often didn't know the answer, and there doesn't seem to be HR in place even though there are 2 restaurants in the group. He was 10 min late to the interview, and did not respond to my thank you email.
