Hiring manager contacted. Setup time and date. Same time HR called me. Spoke with the hiring manager and in a couple of days got an invitation for onsite. They took care of my travel and stay. Everything was fantastic. Gave me an intermediate car and stayed at Hilton, right opposite to AMD.
The interview started @ 9, was welcomed by the HR and then the hiring manager. Each rounds were an hour long. But the interviews were so great that never realized when it was done.
Took me to lunch.
The interviews were very discussion oriented and they focused on how I was tackling a problem and building on a solution.
Overall I liked the interview process.

I got a technical phone screen followed by five hour onsite interview. Most of the questions were from transistor-level design and analysis concepts in both analog and digital side. Overall was a very good interview experience with friendly and polite interviewers.

The hiring process involved in person interviews with 4 managers + 1 engineer consecutively in roughly 20 min sessions. The questions were a mix of behavioral and technical. Behavioral questions mostly dealt with how to overcome obstacles at work due to lack of resources as well as time differences.They also asked technical questions derived from previous experiences. The interviewers were very nice and respectful. They took the time to answer technical questions so I may learn. Overall, it was a nice trip to their office.
