The recruiter reached out to me via phone and told me that this was an urgent fill. I was then scheduled to meet with the hiring manager and then the whole team. However, the recruiter keeps telling me that I am being considered and the team is working on getting a budget for this role. I was confused that how can they post a job without a budget approval in the first place and then waste my time interviewing with them. I reached out to the hiring manager and she simply just ghosted me. Extremely unprofessional and waste people's time.
