Applied through school career fair, one round of interview lasting one hour. I got the result 2 months afterwards. The interview was consisted with 2 senior employees from AMD and me. During that time it was a SMTS and a senior designer who interviewed me. They asked basic questions from their fields, including designing hardware components using Verilog. They also asked software questions, such as debugging a program, write an algorithm for some scenario, or a math problem that is very open ended.

Mostly hardware related. Such as design basic hardware components using Verilog. Also debugging C++ language programs.
There are 3 rounds
2 technical and 1 managerial round
Overall the AMD interview was challenging but very fair. They focused more on my thinking process than memorized answers. It gave me confidence that the work environment is technical and growth-oriented

First had a phone call, which was basic question non technical in other words HR. Followed by 3 technical rounds, mainly focusing on SV UVM standard questions you can not answer them if you are not prepared strictly on each topic since questions are random in nature.

Had an initial screening with a recruiter then 30 min interview with the hiring manager, I was interviewed by a couple members of the team and each of them went around asking me questions about my resume/technical questions
