Process was smoother than most companies up until the end of it: around two weeks from start to finish(?) through multiple rounds (recruiter, hiring manger, team of managers), and at the end of each round there was a pretty affirmative intent communicated that I would move to the next round in the process, or that someone would be reaching out to me from AMD. Unfortunately, after what I thought was the final round interview, all communication ceased and AMD went dark. They did not reach out to let me know if the role had been filled or send an offer, they did not respond to multiple, gentle, well-timed requests for updates, and the candidate website has not been updated for months, still showing "Under Review" for the role.

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn for an account manager role that would support the company I was currently a part of. I said yes and had a long chat with the recruiter. While the salary was lower than what I currently made she did recommend that I speak to the hiring manager. The hiring manager was late in joining the call and was very combative. They wanted to know why I had applied for the role. Obviously the HM had not seen the notes around how I was contacted by their recruitment team. I could tell that the HM had not seen my resume or notes as they were surprised to hear the role I was currently in. This obviously was not a good sign. I never received a follow up call or rejection- Overall this was a very negative experience yet again with them. Their recruitment team could use a little bit more training and empathy. The market is tough which makes us candidates apply or say yes to interviews so please be courteous towards us.
