I interviewed for a position that I was a little overqualified for. I was ghosted after having a good interview with a group of managers. Easy conversational interview style with no behavioral type questions. After telling them I’m interested in moving forward, they told me I’d hear something within 48 hours. It’s been 2 weeks and haven’t heard anything.

To date it has been disjointed and scattered over weeks. After passing the HR screening, I am not told that there will be 7 more interviews from more junior roles to presidents? This seems excessive for a mid-level role and the conversations are more about how 'smart' the people I am talking to think they are and what they want someone to do as part of their work? I was not able to ask any questions and it was very one sided.
