I applied to AMW to gain management experience. The ad they posted stated that they had an Entry-Level Management position with hands on training which is exactly what I wanted. Two days after applying I received a phone call from their Human Resources Assistant who asked me a few questions about my resume and I could tell she reviewed it thoroughly. She was great and really answered all of my questions about the position making sure to emphasize that it is entry-level and on-site. I asked about pay but she stated that she was not qualified to decide that but assured me that the hiring manager I would be meeting with would touch on that. I was scheduled for an interview and she gave me directions and sent me a confirmation email which was great because I actually misplaced the address. The interview took about 15 minutes where the hiring manager asked several questions and then went in-depth about what my position would entail. She did discuss pay with me and how there are different levels, and then concluded with mentioning a second interview for the top 5 candidates. Unfortunately, I was not selected to be one of those candidates but am really looking forward to them having more positions available in the future.
